Technical Requirements & Core Deposit
The RAM exchange engine according to its specification has a variety of high quality
OEM or PMA - overhauled and new - exchange accessory parts installed.
To safeguard a proper, labor saving arrangement of these components during engine
assembly, we kindly ask you to return the attached Accessory Specification List -
properly completed.
In case your returned core engine(s) have the VAR crank shaft & heavy crank case
and do not have any damaged or unserviceable parts, the Core Deposit will be
returned to your bank account without any deductions after our supplier received and
inspected the cores.
Payment Conditions
Upon receipt of our client’s Core Deposit and their Purchase Order, completion of the
ordered engine(s) starts at RAM. Delivery ex Waco generally will take place about 10
working days later. The full payment of the invoice has to be received by RAM before delivery ex Waco
takes place. If transferred through our experienced bank, the transfer normally is
completed in 4-5 days.
Freight / Shipping
Airfreight shipping to you / to your FBO will be included separately in our invoice.
If not yet shown in our quotation, we will send you a separate quote based on
preferential pricing of our shipping agents.
Import customs handling, duties and taxes are not included in this price.
Due to a very limited validity of shipping quotes, for the return of cores we will ask
for the best return sea freight quotations in due time.
Warranty
The extensive warranty conditions of RAM, which vary for OHE engines and parts,
apply accordingly.
In some cases, we are authorized to offer OEM factory warranty. All clauses are
depicted in RAM specification sheets and separate Warranty Documents.
Please ask for a copy.
Validity of our Quotation
In general – if not indicated differently on our quote – we consider our quotes to be
binding for a period of time of 30 days after its submission. Only in case of
unexpected price increases by airframe and engine manufacturers unfortunately
we have to adjust our pricing accordingly.
